It's a Wrap!

From big fish to small fry, it’s a wrap over at Leather District Gourmet’s Sustainable Seafood Blog Event!

Jacqueline posted a big catch with more than two dozen recipes, including two catfish recipes. Of course, one of those was mine, but the other came from NASCAR driver Ryan Newman. Check out his Beer-Battered Catfish.

Hi Kristen, I haven't found a blog by him, but the link from the Sustainable Seafood event takes you to his Foundation website.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Janet,
Nice to meet you. I love catfish, eating, not catching. Having been sliced more times then I can count trying to get them off the hook, I am cured of the catching end of things. Growing up in Fl with all the lakes, fishing was a fun thing to do. Thank you for visiting my blog and your nice comment.

Will have to try the beer-battered catfish. I always have to have beer to drink when I eat fish but never thought about doing a batter with it. Now I do make my hushpuppies with beer. I need your addy please. Just email me with it if you don't mind. Hope you and yours have a blessed weekend.

HI Barbara, thanks for visiting. I am with you on the eating side! When farm-raised catfish became popular where I live, we started just buying them instead of catching them.

Hi Janet, thanks for stopping by my blog, always nice to see newbies! Wow, a whole blog devoted to catfish, I love to catch them but I'm not a fish eater! Sorry! Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Hi Helen, So nice to have you visit. I haven't tried Ryan's recipe yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't work for nuggets as well. Hope you have a great party!
